Minivela was founded by media, entertainment, marketing, and creator economy pioneers who recognized early that microdramas would become one of the most important new formats in global entertainment, and particularly for Latinos in the U.S. and in Latin America.
Our founders brings together experience across television, digital media, branded entertainment, creator partnerships, audience development, and production. Together, we have helped launch media brands, produce award-winning content, build creator networks, develop entertainment franchises, and connect brands with millions of consumers through storytelling.

Angela Sustaita-Ruiz is Co-Founder and Executive Producer of Minivela and serves as CEO of Brilla Media Ventures, Minivela’s parent company. A seasoned media executive, producer, and entrepreneur, she helps lead the company’s strategic growth, business operations, and content initiatives.
